Default Exhausting Question

The Mopar performance book on small blocks state that the Magnum exhaust manifolds flow as well as the earlier 68-70 340 manifolds. Have anyone tried these manifolds on an A-body or have the casting\part numbers available?

The casting #'s are unimportant as the Magnum manifolds are all the same and came on every truck equipped with with a Magnum V-8. I went on the Ram Truck Chat page here at this board and asked if anyone had a set to sell. Wound up with a set for $30 with heat shields and bolts. I'm using them on a '78 Magnum oval track car I'm building and they fit well. They exit to the rear and down, and on this car, seems to be a more logical route than the origional routing for the exhaust. Now on an A-body, things might get cozy with the fire wall, but might work.

All my stuff is BB but I remember reading that the best setup flow wise was the old left side and the magnum right side, but I don't remember where I saw the article. It had pictures and that's why I remember it. The 340 HP left side was a strange looking hummer.
