Angry automatic choke

hello from France
I have some problem with automatic shoke on a holley 1920
can I put a manual system if i change the carb what carb is the best for a dart 170 ci of 1964

Lightbulb Choke Adjustments

You may want to try adjusting the choke on the 1920.

What is the exact problem? Stalling, runs rough, black smoke??

Default automatic shoke

hi
the problem i have is with the automatic system
from the manifold with the spring
i beleive it's better with amanual systeme with a cable
but i have to change my carb and i found differnet at autozone: carter model bbs orholley 1920 champion or tomco or holley
help me
