MOPAR Four-Cylinder Aluminium Magnum Race Block?
I am looking for info on the MOPAR Four-Cylinder Aluminium Magnum Race Block It is a aluminium four-cylinder that can be bored to 2.5L or 3.5L and it uses a hemi V8 cylinder head! Thanks for the help:
P.S. This is not for my Jeep, It is for my Eagle Talon. |

Alot of these are used in the sprit cars and quater midgets. One of the local shops we deal through for go kart and jr dragster parts is building one of these for their quater midget. As for now thats all I know about these.

I posted about this a while back, and I believe it uses a small block head. I think the W8. I'll see if I can find the link

Don't know much about the engine. Believe it is a "sawed in half" aluminum sprint block. Standard W7, W8 and W9 heads fit. Don't think the block has provisions for wet sump oiling (sprint block doesn't). But dry sump oiling is not hard to fit. I think the only source is Gary Stanton Racing, Nicklasville, KY.
Give Gary a call(he's a good guy) but have your questions prepared in advance- he may be good but he's also very busy! |
