Need Exhaust Suggestions
Hi Everyone,
I just picked up my truck and want to modify the exhaust without voiding the warranty. Any suggestions? I'm looking for a deep sound that's not too loud. Are cat-back systems a good way to go? |

I haven't seen too much for the 2002 yet, but the stock exhaust system "looks" like it is fairly well made, except for the exhaust manifolds on the 4.7L. Those manifolds look REALLY restrictive!
Anyhow, I'm waiting for someone to make headers for the 4.7L in the 2002 Ram 1500? |

Assuming you have the 5.9, Mom MoPar makes an entire system. Headers & cat back. Hi flow cats are had from Headman or Hooker.
The MoPar parts are legal to use and will not void warrenty. Look it up in the catolog. The hi-flow cats are legal if it's OK'd by the seller, which they should be. Installed on your truck "MAY" void the warrenty. I don't know if they could tell the difference by lookin at them. I couldn't tell when I got them for my '79 Magnum except that they were shinny new vs. the old rusty color. When it was done with the whole system at once, it look great. |
