Biggrin Slant Six Tire Fryer!!!!

Hey Guys,

Just thought that some of you would appreciate what I did with my car over the weekend… my friend wanted to have a burn-out contest so I said sure… now keep in mind that he’s got an ’89 Honda front wheel drive 4 banger… and I’ve got a ’69 Barracuda slant six… so the fun begins… my friend trys to really smoke his tires and being a front wheel drive, he managed to get a little smoke from about a 3 grand launch but couldn’t get a cloud to form… ok, my turn… fire up the ‘Cuda, put her in drive, stand on the brakes, ¾ throttle, let off the brakes just a hair, and whoa!!!!!!!! SMOKE CLOUD!!!!!!!….. I did it a couple more times just to have some fun but I didn’t want to ruin anything so I shut the car off and headed back into church…. Whoops… look like I sinned on Sunday… lol

Dschumers.... haven't seen you in a while!!! How's it going??

My buddy's FWD ricer is really his parents but he's getting an older Firebird with a 305... supposedly this one really roasts the tires... we'll see when he gets the car.. I'll keep you guys updated!!!

305's aren't fast anyways...you can easily get that kind of power out of a slant six. I think the 305 is one of chevy's worst small blocks.

Tell him to pull the ebake hard and dump the clutch from redline. If that dont work dump it in R...Backwords donuts! I do it at work all the time.
