Question

I have a 5-speed v-6 dakota. 2 weeks ago the tranny started making a grinding and knocking noise, can anyone tell possible probelms before I take it to the dealer for service.

Hey phatdak 2wd or 4wd?what year?How many miles?How many miles on the clutch? Does the noise resonate thru the clutch pedal?If so you may have a bad t/o bearing which means its time for a clutch.Usually they last a good 90 100k.....PRO...
