Question This a good deal???

I might buy this, want to know if the deal is worth doing...

For $1,000
1979 Dodge Ramcharger-4x4, convert (Real thing, not chopped!!)
2 440's, one for the Ramcharger, one for my Coronet!
All spare parts, original Service Manual, carbs, manafolds and such.
BB 727 also.

What do ya'll think?

The ramcharger needs a resto, and the engines need to be done over, tranny should be looked at also. The whole lot has been sitting for years, in the garage of a cop, whom I spoke with. Well??

I think I would buy it all. Even if you bought it all just to sell off again I think you would still come out way ahead.

Default Thanx

I have to think about it, the Ramcharger will go in the garage. Till I can get it running, I plan to *if I get it* put the engine/tranny from the coronet, into the Ramcharger. Put the BB 727, 440 in the Coronet. I just have to see what it will take to get the ramcharger road worthy.

Default good deal

I would grab it, the two motors alone might be worth that much (have you read the special interest classifieds/mags lately?) amazing what core big blocks are going for. Also, if you are going to swap one of them into your car, you probably have lots of the misc. stuff like brackets/bolts, etc... to choose from between the two motors. that alone probably makes it the best grand you ever will spend!!!!!
