Default Whats Up With This Pully ???

Hey all ive been looking for a single groove pully for my 68 barracuda 318ci (it has some kind of a monster pully on it that weighs about 10 pounds four groove i believe and the only thing it drives is the alt and water pump.Well any way my son found me one but the bolt holes dont line up, he said it came off a 1966 318ci, My question is can i use the harmonic balance off that engine so the pully will bolt up or would that be a NO NO!!
any help will surly be appreciated
John

I would NOT use the balancer from the poly engine on a 67+ 318.
That would be a big NO NO!!!!

The pulley that dosn't fit can be modified. The holes should almost line up. Right? A careful look can tell you if you can drill it out. It should be real close to fitting on. If not a real close fit then skip it. If lets say, 4 out of 6 bolts can go in, you can mark the pulley on where to drill. The balancer from the Poly 318 is a different balance.
A part fron a 273 or 67 & later sb should pop right on. Theres also March pulleys if you have a birthday comin up.
