Hey! I'm looking for a 360 late model truck motor and 727 tranny to put in my '88 Dakota. Also, I'm looking for an eight and three-quarter inch rear end. Does anyone know where to get a bargain? Will I have to shorten an 8 3/4" rear? Thanks,

A suggestion on the rear end - find a 9 1/4 rearend from a late model Dakota with a V-8. You won't have to modify it and It's plenty strong. If your truck is a 4X4, make sure you get the same ratio as the front!
