Question Hey SWINGER321, I have a question...

Thanks for your reply to my previous post about the "GOOD RECIPE FOR A MEAN 360", I like your recipe, it sounds like the way to go for me. My questions are: Isn't the 89-91 5.9L a fuel injected engine? will my intake and carb bolt right on? What about all of the emissions stuff and ignition? is the starter on the same side? and finally, will the engine bolt right up to my 727 tranny/flexplate, and will I need a different torque converter?

89-91 360 is still a pre mag motor, just so you know all sm blk 360's will fit (same bell patteren, dist locaton) the major diff is the heads oil thru the push rod instead of the heads. your intake will fit those type of heads also. yes you will need a different converter, or you can buy a b&m weighted flywheel. it's too bad your not in fla, i'm selling all of my hp 360 stuff( 89 360 long block ross forged pistons,mp .533 solid cam,mp hp rods,2.02 j heads, edelbrock performer intake) just needs to be built. oh ya just toss the emission stuff in the can.
