Question 10"A-Body drum brakes

Are their any 10" drums with the large bolt pattern that would bolt up to my original spindles? I am looking to swap out the small pattern for the larger 4.5, since i already have the large pattern in the rear. This is on my 69 Dart.

I wanted to do the same between my '70 Duster and a parted out '73 Swinger . It had 4" circle, 10" drums in the front and 4.5"circle, 10" drums on a 8 1/4 axle. I guess the previous owner beat me to it.

I have the same situation with a '72 318 Dart 4 door. It has 10" small bolt drums all around, and I'm going to put in an 8-1/4" BB axle. In the disc brake swap articles in Mopar Action, they used to say that '73-'74 E bodies used the same spindle that '73-'76 A body disc cars used, so I wonder if E body 10" BB drums would work?

Im in the same boat, I have a 69 Valiant. I put an 8 1/4 from a 74 dart, big bolt in rear and small in the frnt. I plan to put disc in the frnt. to make it all the same (and I really want disc breaks). I heard that I can use any A boby parts from 73-76. Look a page or two back and look for " Disc breaks for 69 A body" lots of people helped me out.

No factory big bolt A-body drum brakes. But, with the '73-up drum or disc upper control arms, you can fit a B or E-body drum spindle and front drum brakes if you desire.

The E-body and A-body shared spindle is only for disc brakes.

Default drill?

Why not have the hubs drilled for the big bolt pattern?

Is there enough meat to do so?

Question

I think it puts the studs real close to the edge of the hub. I think Moser told me they had done it, but didn't reccommend it.
