Default Best hood and price for 70 RR?

I'm lookin to replace my Air Grabber hood on my RR because I plan on either getting a blower or a tunnel ram for it and I dont want to chop up the Hood.

What is the best hood out there (Fiberglass of course ) and what would the price run me for it? I dont really want to spend more than 500 on a fiberglass hood, cuz I am gonna be puttin a hole in it unlesss I can get one with a hole already in it.

Thanks!

Once I get the other hood I will prolly be selling the Air Grabber (painted Plum Crazy, pics on my website at cardomain (bottom of signature)).

I don't need an air grabber hood as mine works just fine on my 70 RR..
However I have seen complete hoods go for $1200-1500 in good shape on ebay..

Biggrin cheap fiberglass hood

I own a 70 Roadrunner and also wanted a fiberglass hood. Try Unlimited Products, www.up22.com. They have a 70 RR/GTX bolt on stock appearing fiberglass hood for $200 and looks cool. I wanted to buy one so I could cut a hole in it for the airgrabber, but maybe since you're possibly selling yours we could work out a deal? Unlimited Products also has other fiberglass parts for the car.

wow, that stuff looks great, but their shipping is awfully high (110 to get a hood to me...) considering the weight of the product.

u know what the weight of a stock AirGrabber hood is, how about the front fenders? i would like to replace those as well... I love wheelies!!! :P

I may be able to sell the hood, but my father isn't keen on it because they are rare, and its a very nice hood (clean, well painted), so we may keep it and put it on another road runner we come across.

I will be sure to try and get in contact with you when we come to a decision.

Thanks
