Default Fairbanks

Fairbanks was bought out several years ago by another company. I found their new site but it didn't have any information on their converters. The new company is based in Florida if I remember correctly. I don't remember the name of the new company, but you should be able to find it with a search. It's probably not worth looking for IMO.

For Mopar converters try to stick with ATI, Dynamic, Turbo Action, or Precision tork converters. Did I leave any out guys?

Frank Lupo, owner of Dynamic racing transmissions, was the original owner of Fairbanks, and the one who sold Fairbanks out and started another company.

Frank is an old time Hemi racer, owning and racing a SS/DA Hemi Cuda, and also owning the original 64 Hemi lightweight of Dave Strickler. I believe Frank purchased that car when it was a year old, right from Strickler, and owns it to this day. He ran it successfully throughout Division 1 as a SS/BA, but the car is so valuable that he generally concentrates on the Cuda.

I ran Fairbanks in the old days, and they were one of the hot setups for MoPars. Frank took the technology and the MoPar experience with him to Dynamic, and he still does a lot of Chrysler specialty work. If you have some old Fairbanks stuff around, chances are Frank was the mover and shaker, and he is a good guy to deal with, especially for MoPar racers.
