Plug Gap Using MSD 6AL & Blaster Coil
Howmuch if any should you open up your plug gap when running an MSD 6AL & Baster 2 coil. Motor is a 440 Six Pack, 915 head, 10:1 comp. Thanks in advance.

should be able to go .055 with almost no problem. just start going up in .005 increments until the power falls off, then back down a little. keep an eye on the ceramic, looking for little pencil lines. those are an indication of blowing the spark out. you should also be able to feel a noticiceable lack of power when you are blowing out the spark, almost like you are hitting a wall at 5000rpm, and your motor just wont turn any faster. that, would be to much gap.

I went to .055 with mine. After that it fell off a little like dewme5 said. The instructions will detail what to do and look for.
