2.2 L Engine swap - Moparchat

Does anyone know if I can swap a 1987 2.2L turbo (Engine code- A) for my 1988 2.2L turbo (Engine code - E)? How are they different?

yes, you can make the swap ,but if memory serves me right they changed to a 8 bolt crank from a 6 bolt in 88. They also changed torque converters in 88. For these reasons you would have to swap around flywheel/flexplate pieces to match the crank bolt pattern
