Sat down last night and read the latest Mopar Muscle mag. Seems there is a another 318 powered 66 Cuda that has beaten my 12.50 ....with a 12.40's pass...she's got me by almost a tenth!

If the weather holds we'll whip her (yes I said HER) on Sunday and regain our "Fastest Natually Aspirated 318 Doorslammer" title.

This year we added a Dana 60, 4.56 gears, 10x29 Goodyears, a MW spool, SS springs, Summers Bros. axles, and Denny's driveline.
This replaced the 8.25 sure-grip and 8x28 MT hung on stock 37 year old springs and shaft.

We glued in a roll bar and frame connectors and took a sawzall to the old fish and filet'd about 500+ pounds off her. We took so much weight off her the upper A-Arms came up to the stops, we had to take about 8 turns out of the torsion bars to get the ride height down.

I project a 11.90's pass before the first day of test and tune is over, what do you guy's think.....can we beat her up?
