I have a friend who has an '80 CJ 7 with the T-176 4 Speed Transmission. Does anyone know if AMC used this transmission in any of their other vehicles such as the Eagle wagons. My brother also has a heavy duty T-18 4 speed that is in need of an input shaft and cone but is otherwise in good condition. Does anyone know where we could get an input shaft for this tranny or of anyone who could make one. Thanks '51

T176 is your best bet and there are plenty of reputable businesses who will rebuild you T176 alot cheaper than picking up a new one. Pick up the latest 4wheeler mag and lok in the back, tons of Jeep refitters. Will find that input shaft for the T18 as well. Bob |
