Installing an RPM Gauge on a 383
OK, probably a dumb question for you experienced Mopar guys, but I have a '68 Road Runner with a 383 and I'd like to install an RPM gauge.
Year One has one that is a replica of what Chrysler would have installed. Is this a quick instal or a big project? Thanks in advance. |

Your talking about the small square Tach for the standard dash (not the rally dash?)
I don't think it would be too hard to install, but you would have to remove the dash to install the tach. |

Correct. It is the in-dash tach.
Anyone install one and had any problems? Anything I should be aware of? Thanks for the help! |

I haven't installed that one, but if you want it to look like a factory installation, get the reproduction Tach wiring harness that has the wire with gromet that fits in the firewall hole.
As for removing the dash, the hardest part is getting the speedometer cable off the back of the speedometer. |
