Default I need an engine

The 360 in the sailor Son's cuda disassembled itself to the extent of ruining the block. I think we will now build a 340 stroker. Any good 340 blocks out there?

Thanks for the help.

I may end up with a 360, but I REALLY like the big bore on the 340.

couldn't talk me out of a 340 either. Early 360 had thicker bore castings or better goto the race 4.25 block.

We can talk about this on Sunday at the track...I'll let you in on some secret stuff on these stroker motors that most Machine Shops will overlook...

Remember...Bob Drummond, Creswell Oregon, he won't overlook anything, ask him to tell you the story of the 70 340 Cuda that he built, ran in the 9's first time out and scared the guy so bad the car has been garaged for the last 3 years, he won't drive it....LOL

Bob will probably be there, look for a green 57 Chebby with the front wheels about 3 feet off the ground and the bumper draging...

Cool Why not check into the New 340 block

I am not sure how much they are but Ma has released a new 340 casting resently that is supposedly similar to that R block.
