Default Which oilpan?

When I get down on my 340 the oil pressure drops to 30 lbs.( has 70 lbs normally) It only does it in low gears so Im guessing the oil is being pulled away from the pickup. What would be a good pan and pick up. (meaning one that will not hit my draglink and headars on my 67 dart and will not run the pickup dry). I was thinking about a midolon pan. Any one ever run this on a A body smallblock?

The only small block aftermarket oul pan I have used was a Moroso, and I did not like it!
The big block, Milodon low profile oil pan/pickup works really good on my car

Joe, the absolute best pan for the B motor, in my opinion, (short of going to an external pickup deal) is the Milodon 7 qut pan. They manufacture it in a low profile, with a wider sump, or in a straight deep bucket. They are of very good quality, and if used with the matching pickup should be good for 6000 rpm.

The only problem you may have may possibly be ground clearance.

I use the MiloDON on my 318 in the 66.....just few problems.....

We had to section out the K-frame and box it in to get the motor in.

The center link hits the left side but it has worn a nice round divit in it so it's not a problem anymore :-))

I believe the 67 and up cars have a wider k-frame so you may be OK ..anyone got any input on the K-frame measurement?

Have you checked the thrust bearing end play on your crank lately? You may have other things going on?
