95' XJ 4.0L Limited SE. UK spec
Selec-Trac
Model: NP 242
Serial: 10 13 94 2
Assy: 5209 8317

I have now covered just over 65,000 miles without any problems, but just lately I have been plagued with fluid leaks from the front output shaft oil seal.
I have replaced the seal twice, as per the specs in the Jeep manual, but as soon as I put the fluid in, it starts to weep slightly between the flange and the seal.
It just looks as if the seal is damaged/the ID slightly too large/or the seal is fitted back to front. The flange seal track is unmarked, the breather is clear and Castrol Dexron III is to the correct level.
I did wonder if the dealer had supplied the wrong seals (4762 899) because the majority of Jeep dealers over here leave a lot to be desired. If any one could please check the part number it will be greatly appreciated.

Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did they rectify it.
