Default Sure grip and 3.92 ring +pinion
I'm cleaning up some things and need to sell!!
Sure grip and 3.92 R + P for a 9 1/4.
These came out of a 1/2 ton pick-up.
Make a reasonable offer.

They were in a truck that had 44,000 miles if Iremember right. They were quiet.

How much do you want for the Sure-Grip? I am really interested in one, but I don't have that much money right now. How does the Sure-Grip work? Is it just like a posi? Thanks in advance.

Sure-grip and Posi are trade names. They both mean or describe a clutch type dif that applies power to both axles.

Well, after opening the box with the sure grip I find that I am wrong. It is not a sure -grip but it is a trac-lock. For those how don't know, it is still a clutch type and is rebuildable. The sure grip - auburn is not.(without a machine shop. )
Price is the same . Buy it!!

I believe it will. It has the ring flange for the anti-lock brakes.

I'm going to be using a 9 1/4 limited slip out of a '79' RC in my '82' Ram. Just need the R & P.

What's least you'll take for the R&P? Kinda maxed my budget out this month on doin a ground up on the '82'

I was hoping to get $75 for the set but if you want to offer less I'll keep the bearings etc, and deal with just the r+p

I've got the $75 for you,R&P+bearings, I just need to know.
1)are there any bad wear paterns on the R&P
2)are the pinion bearings ingood shape,mainly rr.,depth shim installed
3) most important is it compatable w/ 97 9.25 sure grip
4) if shipping is a shock(I'm in Newfoundland,Canada) we'll share the shipping.( USPS is the cheapest)
