Has anyone else tried Bosch platinum 4's in their 5.2L magnum? I have a 1998 Dodge Dakota 5.2L and i installed a set of Bosch Platinum 4 plugs and noticed a dramtic loss of low end torque!! It was so bad i put the original Champions plugs back in after only 10 miles! I just thought everyone out there running these Magnum engines should know not to waste their money on these "High Tech" plugs! They sucked!!!!!

Tried Bosch Plattinums in my 91 318 and 95 3.5 Intrepid, they were really bad in the winter, cold start was horrible!

The plugs to buy for the 5.2L are the Autolite 3924 (stock heat range). I'm going with the 3923s this summer. These plugs have been tested by a Dakota Mailing List member and dynoed 5-6 horsepower increase and the results have been documented. They work very well with all the Magnum engines. They are just the regular copper Autolites. Believe me, many of our members have tested them.

Definetly stay with the Autolites!!!!!There was a big difference towing my racecar up and down the hills around here. The Bosch's had NO low end power. The mileage also dropped 1.5-2mpg.
