Exclamation I Need MORE POWER from my 4.0 I6 !!!

What I do other than a stroker, blower, or NOS to boost my power?

I already have a K&N Intake and Flowtech Exhaust system.

What else can I do to it?
how much power will it give me?
how much $$$$ will it cost me?

any help would be great!

Well, it fights imports, goes moderatly off road (little mud, lots of snow, feilds, hills, dirt, and diches), occasionally the odd drag race, and some towing.

I would like to get the bhp up over 200 I beleave it came stock with 177 bhp and 235 Ft/Lbs of torque. I need more pickup/grunt in the low RPM'S (between 900 and 2500).

Any help would be great guys!
Thanks,

Check into Clifford for the inline 6 specialists. The'll hav headers intakes cams and turbo kits. If these guys can't help, then only a BIG Block V-8 will do.

How about heads with larger valves?
How about a larger throttle body?

Although a bolt-on supercharger is the
easy way to get some the power. No
replacement for displacement, and that
is exactly what the supercharger adds.

I have heard 275-hp from 6-lb of boost.

Your stock camshaft is designed to operate very well at the low to mid RPM range; if you were to change cams I would reccommend one that didn't vary too much from the stock specs. A moderately sized header would probably be your best mod since it would complement your existing exhaust upgrade. Like Rumblefish says, talk to the specialists, they should be able to set you up with a package that will perform well with what you already have and take into account vehicle size, intended use, gearing, etc. etc.
