Default How to Modify for better cooling ?

Ok I read the posts about oil cooling pistons, but what about changes to help your engine run cooler? I'm talking about such things as modifing cooling passages or pumps, changing flow rates or direction, special coatings to reduce heat soak etc.here's a couple I've heard about. One was to bring cool water from water pump directly to each head though an external waterline.this is supposed to really help w/high compression. The other idea was a special electric water pump that uses an electronic control unit to decide when your motor needs high flow rates. That way high flow rates aren't dependent on motor speed. Thank Tim
