Default Wiper Switch toggle removal

Is there a way to remove the toggle/rocker part from the wiper switch from a 69 Roadrunner? I have a switch that works but all the chrome plating has peeled off; I have another switch that doesn't work but the chrome plating is good.

I searched all the forums without success and figured I'd post here.

Thanks!

Terry
