Default My what a big Charger you have!!

LOL Actually its a 70 300. The mailing I got it on, someone said it looks like a big Charger. This is inspiration to keep going on my 70 Newport. Thought some of you might like to see a nice C-body every now and then.

That is one sweet ride! You got some torque going down to lift the front end on that beast, like that! Gotta luv them C bodies!

Always did like those "C" bodies. I run an "A", but I'm still on the look for my '68 Monaco 2dr.

Default That 300 ROCKS!

LOVE those 2dr Cbodies!!! 440 or 400 ready to ROCK!!!
You see SO FEW OF THEM and they are cool!
The only time I wanted to kill a guy was the nimrod that offered to sell me the '67 Chrysler 300 w/ 383 4bbl that sat behind his garage. Black on black with a MINT body and leather interior! It needed brakes and a carb, and he only wanted $300 for it. I need a few days to scrape up the bread and he said that was no problem, it wasn't going anywhere. I returned the following week and the car was gone. He said "Well, I didn't hear from you so I called the wrecking yard to come get it."
The looser made a whole $50.

Dr. R,
The looser was actually a nincompoop, not a nimrod. But I knew what you meant anyway. Had something similar happen to me too.

Very nice ride!

Default this is a family forum!

Wow,

what a big charger you have, too funny.
I remember going with my dad to pick up his new 70 newport with the 383 2bbl. great car, I miss driving it. certainly not the powerhouse the one pictured is but was a great car. You hardly ever see any of these cars anymore so it was really cool of you to post the pic, brought back a lot of good memories. Those things were as big a house. The trunk was so huge, you could take everything with you on vacation.

too cool

Default that's awesome

a buddy of mine had a 10 second dart with a 540 cubic inch 600 hp wedge in it, and it got wrecked in a car accident. but the motor was still fine, so he put the motor in his daily driven 70 newport (power everything, brown with a brown interior, buckets/console). with 3.55 gears and a 2800 stall converter the thing will run 12.9's at 112 mph all day, but its a little hard on gas. it tips the scales at something like 5100 pounds
