I'm buying a 360 magnum for 800 bucks with headers is this worth it! (need help)
Hello mopar fans I have an oppourtunity to buy this engine: A
Chrysler 360 98 magnum remanufactured engine, milodon oil pan, stealth intake, vicious cooling fan,comp cam and lifter set still in the box & you get a set of headman headers. This engine runs GREAT and is ready to install for 800 bucks. Please let me know what you guys think. I have a punny slant six and its always been my dream to have more power. Currently the engine and all of the little goodies are in Delware and the engine has 200 miles on it. Let me know what you guys think, I have 13 hours to decide, don't make me regret anything fellas  P.S. Yeah its definately mopar or no car!

Is that cam a roller design for the magnum engine?
I did not know they made a stealth intake for the magnum heads, or has the intake been modified? If it is a well built engine then $800 sounds like a fair deal, it is just hard to know what you (or the seller) means by "re-manufactured". I think the legal description means that all the parts have been rebuilt or replaced so the engine meets the original specifications of the manufacturer.

Thats what I've been pondering
I don't know if its an acutual 98 crate motor or if it has been rebuilt in 98. So its a fair deal? I'm not sure, but it is a really nice one. It was just about to be built for high performance, thats why they are giving the headers, comp cam, and stealth intake. This is what they said also:
I'm also giving you the distributor, a water pump, timing cover, headers, a different cam and lifter set. The engine will be painted hemi orange before I ship. What about it now?

Do it. the Stealth is 200, the cam is 150, the pan is 100 the headers are 150, the rering alone is worth 150. It will be a worthy replacement for the ol' 6, and a good base for additional hop ups.
