I'm having to rely totally on memory, which certainly isn't perfect, but I believe I remember seeing some at the dealer. If they weren't offered in 69, I think they were in 70. SuperBees and Road runners seem to have been the 1st w/ them, but availability increased even to cudas and challengers in 70. I think the six-pack package was introduced in MID-'69.

Default None till '70

None produced untill 1970, 440 3x2 bbl 390hp is V-code engine in '70 Chargers. Maxwedge is correct the '69 Road Runner and GTX did have available 440 3X2 bbl 390hp eng code m. There could possibly be a "Mr Norms" or other dealer modified '69 charger but I dont know of any.

from the factory, no 69 chargers ever came from them with 6 pack units. the 6 pack was not around until the 69 1/2 super bee came. then they offered it only on the bee, the road runner, the gtx. it came into play at about 1/4 of the way into production that year. they were to busy worring about how to make the charger more aero dynamic for nascar.

Hey,
When I think more of it even when it obviously is not real a ยด69 Charger is tempting......

I just might have some extra parts for a Charger,,,,we can look at those the next time you pay a visit.....

I bought my Charger 1990.
At that time it had 440 six pack in it.

Max,
your saying it might have been original
The vin says 383 but now you make me think that the engine was original and someone changed the vin.
Maybe the original owner was veeery humble person and did not want to brag with that rather rare vin he had

From Galens White book, no production 1969 Charger 440-6 cars,
1970 there were 684 Charger R/ts built with the 440-6 engine.

For 1969 440-6 production:
420 Coronet SuperBee CPE (WM21M9A)
1,487 Coroney SuperBee HDTP (WM23M9A)
615 RoadRunner CPE (RM21M9A)
797 Road Runner HDTP (RM23M9A)

Total 440-6 production for 1969 = 3,319.
