Biggrin whats the best intake manifold for 440 4bbl??????

i just wanted to ask everyone what is the best intake manifold in your opinion i should get for my 69 440. and another thing what stage heads does a stock 440 have(IV,V,VI)?The edelbrock performer manifold dyno numbers seem to be for a newer model RB. My Carter AVS seems pretty good, will the edelbrock, or holley give me MORE POWER when i mash it?

Your '69 should have 906's if original. The manifold choice depends on a number of things, hood clearance, RPM range, square or spread bore, strip or street, etc. As a rule the dual plane is for low and midrange, and the single plane is for mid to upper RPM ranges.
