in alberta (2800 ft above sea level) a friend of mine has run a 10.28 in a 3200# dart with a 727 and a 3500 stall converter. the car actually has really good street manners, and with a race demon carb on it, it runs really well and is very consistent. the next step for the satellite will be the 528 hemi

I've heard of the car you are talking of through a friend of mine who works at the track named Tim.
I am also going 528, I wonder if you would mind forwarding my email address to your buddy? I have a few questions I think he could answer?!?!

528 Hemi in an E will run mid to high 11's. This is with drag radials , and in full street trim.
Mph should be in the 118- 120 range

REALLY?
I would think 600 horsepower in a 3800 pound car would be quicker?
There was a local guy who had a yellow Duster (Jamie) who ran a 509 very mild 440, he ran consistent LOW 11's at Mission. It was an A body, but more in the neighbourhood of 500 horsepower than 600?

I, would not even consider a crate Hemi. I would get someone who knows what they are doing to build it for the same ( or maybe a little less) money. John Arruzza built mine. call him 336 475 0426

I remember reading about Arruzza in a recent mag. It sounds like they do Hemis really well. What exactly did they do for your motor? I assume they have a variety of packages? Website?

There is no"they", it is a one man show. I have been to his garage/shop. He has some high dollar machines in there.
His 511" package seems to be the most popular. Mine is a 527", due to an overbore of.070". $14000.
