reverse valve body or not?

Hello all.. I have a 727 race transmission sitting next to me here, it has a transbrake, but how can I tell if the valve body is a reverse pattern or not? I forgot to ask *Ha*

usually on Reverse Valve bodies theres a large oil pan, (usually 1-1.9inches deep). thats the first thing i'd check.

i cant tell the diff but i didnt have to change anything when i put my scs cheeta valvebody in the only thing i can suggest is to compare it to one you know is not a man valve body mine went in with out a larger pan so im not sure you can tell by the pan size

I don't know of any way to tell--except for having the trans in a car and trying the shift pattern. (driving the car)
