Right now I have an open element air cleaner on my truck and people have told me its probably no better than the stock set up because it sucks in hot air, does anyone know where to get some kind of cold air induction for my truck???

Welcome to the forum. What kind of set up do you have now ?
How about a K&N Gen II air cleaner ?? Make sure you tell your other MOPAR friends about the site and Welcome again ! ------------------ "Good Luck on your project." Mid Michigan MOPAR Enthusiasts |

I have the 14" open air element also. This is what hot-rodders have used for years before the K+N Gen II. Were they all wrong....I don't really think so. It is definately better than your stock air box just on flow rates alone. I'm also sure that you gained better throttle response than you had before. My personal opinion is that the Gen II's look silly reguardless of how they perform (I'm sure they do real well), but then again I'm against NOS and blowers also. Be different, keep the traditional look going. Hopefully I won't get too many flames for this!
