Smile No termostat, but stills overheat.

Yesterday I wrote, hello I have a chrysler concorde 1994,some days ago it overheted, change water pump, test the sensor that turns radiator fan on, but it continues overheating, I release that it drops water by a tube located in the tank where antifreezzer is, then the car has no wather and start overheating.
can anyone help me I am afraid it can cause a worst problem ,thanks in advance.

Thanks a lot for for your interest, all you cool guys, but someting I forgot to say is that I already remove termostat cause where I live is not to cold at any time. I was thinking, is there a chance, the radiator cap is not supporting hot water pressure then it leakes for the tube designed to release that pressure in antifreezze tank.

If you don't have a thermostat in the housing, you're not holding back the coolant long enough for the radiator to cool before the hot water goes back into the block. You have to be able to get the coolant in the radiator to cool before it goes back in or it will just keep getting hotter and hotter until it's too late. Take care of that first, and then look at your thermo switch for the fan, etc.

If your cap is not holding pressure then it may be a reason for running hot. Does the electric fan turn on? A thermostat is also important like Ausydad says. Good luck.

What these guys said, put a thermostat in and get a new radiator pressure cap. Make sure the lower radiator hose is not getting sucked closed by the water pump.

As mentioned in the above posts, put the thermostat back in. The engine will take too long to warm up and put more wear on it.

Make sure that your fan works and the temperature switch is good.

Next look at the front of the car in the front of the radiator. There may be seals there from the factory. If someone took these off, put them back on. The seals seal off the radiator to the core support and forces the air to go through the radiator, not around it.

Also make sure that your car has the proper shroud if it came with one. These all affect engine cooling.
