Default 340 spark plug gap?

OK, the engine is a balanced and blueprinted 340. Edelbrock intake, stock exhaust manifolds, edelbrock 750, true 2.02 1.60 O heads with 3 angle valve job and slight porting, 280 duration 474 lift MP purple cam, compression is around 9:1 and is a daily driver.

I just bought an MSD Billet Distributor, MSD 6AL, MSD 8.5 wires, MSD Blaster 2 coil, and NGK spark plugs.....What should I gap the plugs at?

Default 340 gap

I would try a baseline of about 40 thou and work from there.Increase the gap in small increments until you notice a drop in performance

Cuda:

What does the MSD instructions recommend? Chrysler says .035 and there is not much to gain by going much more than .038. About all you can gain is a smoother idle. If you are looking for max power use .032 to .035.

He can open it up due to the MSD to .050 without ANY problems. cuda6pak ;Please read other post as well on this topic.
The MSD instructions are very good and offer excellent tips.
Vary gap for best ET. or MPG's.
