SS Spring in an A-Body
I am thinkin of installing SS springs on my 74 Duster. I am wondering if the ride height will change much in the rear. Also can someone recommend a better shock than the MP longer shocks or are the MP as good as it gets. My Duster weights around 3400 lbs.

I have heard the SS springs change the ride height a little and you should use B body shocks because they are longer.

My 1973 Duster's ride height is around 2 inches over stock at least, and it has brand new S/S Springs (don't know what weight though, probably 3400). I don't like the look, so I'm looking for a 1.5 Inch lowering block that can stand up to 10 second Et's.
The MP Drag shock is not a bad shock, and they can be found for around $30 a peice. Truck shocks can also be used if you want to change your upper mounting bolts around. |

I have the 002/003 SS springs on my car with 1" lowering blocks and the car is almost even front to back. Also the rear tires are only 26" tall so any taller will raise the rear.
