Biggrin LOL, I hope it wasnt the pills

The past few days I hav been in heavy medication due to my wisdom tooth. Anyway, I have been going over my haynes and chiltons and have realized that taking stuff off my motor like intake manifold or heads isnt that hard if you have the right tools. I just wanted to say I am not intimidated anymore!

Correct Tools......now thats an idea Amazing how much time and skin you save. I remember trying to remove upper ball joints without that big funny looking socket. 2 days and 6 knuckles later I caved and ante'd up the $35.00. Of course it took 15 minutes after that.......

Default The best advice.........

When you start wrenching on your cars, rule #1
When your buddies start to tell you how and what to do, just knod your head and mumble "Uuh Hu"
Rule#2
Quickly forget everything they said.
Rule #3
Buy some GOOD books on engine building, modifications, ect
and make some connections with machine shop guys that have to eat iron filings all day and bore and mill engines parts.
Makes some connections with MoPar guys that are running some winners. They are fast, and most probably without spending every cent they earn.
Then feel confident that you that you have a handle on what is going on.
Wrench away!

Keep reading and with another pill or two you'll decide to rebuild your whole engine

Take a couple extra pills on top of them and you may end up in my boat... trying to put a subframe/4 link suspension on a mini truck with a small block in it. Uh oh, now I need some more pills again...
