Clutch Problems
I have a 73 Duster orginally 318 3 speed car! When I first bought the car the 3 speed had been switched to a 4 speed, thats cool. But I have pulled the old engine out for a 360 I just built up! Had my flywheel balanced for the 360, but now I have clutch problems. I am not so sure the clutch was right to begin with also. I cant seem to adjust it right. To much clutch travel, the through out bearing would actually release into the fingers of the pressure plate! This is all new parts Clutch, pressure plate, and through out bearing from Advance. Also the clutch pedal doesnt seem to release all the way out, it stops about a Inch or two from the top. I pull it on up with my foot. Maybe linkages are bent or the new engine is longer.
