New carbs from Holley that run rich with only 1 mixture screw out 1/2 turn and 1 out 1 turn on center carb, but runs rich. Doesn't leave much room for a leaner mixture. Is this right?
Thanks in advance |

If she is running rich, make sure your linkage is set correctly and that there are not vaccum leaks. I would normally put a rag over the two outer carbs and then that would tell me whether or not they were the problem. If they checked out, make sure the cente carb hasn't gotten anthing in the idle circuts and go from there. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

the screws affect only the idle. Is it rich only at idle, during cruising, or at acceleration? All of these are different problems in the carb.
