intake and heads poll
I have a mild 383 with 9-1 pistons and and a .467/.494 lift. Currently I am using an Edlebrock Performer RPM and stock 906 heads.
I was wondering what intake and head combinations everyone else is using. I'm looking to change it up to get a liitle more power.

Are your heads ported. If not, then I would purchase Edelbrocks heads and step up in cam lift. A stick from Hughes has high lift and quick opening ramps. 1.6 rockers as well. 750-770 cfm carb.

Currently I am running ported and enlarged 906's on my 383 with a Plain Performer, a .477"/.480" lift cam, and a 770 cfm Holley. I have not had a chance to really get on the motor yet, but it idles and revs real nice. If I knew about the Edelbrocks when i built the motor I would have gotten them, but you know how things go. Right now my intake is probably a tad too weak for my combo. A performer RPM with the edelbrock heads and 1.6 rockers are my ultimate goal, but I need a good place to start.
