What stall to run?
I have a 440 engine with a 9.5:1 CR, cam is a .480 intake, .495 exhaust and 238/246 duration at .050
also have a performer RPM edelbrock intake. The rear differential has 3.91 gears with a 26" tall tire. What stall should I be running? The car is driven primarily on the street with maybe 2 trips to the track per year. Thanks. |

I would think you would do well with a converter that stalls about the same as a factory high stall.
About 2200-2300. More than that, and it will feel slushy on the street. |

I was talking to you on Moparts and I really like my Turbo Action 3000 10" tight. It fells like a stock convertor driving around as it has no slippage and I have driven up tp 120 miles in a day with no trouble and it works ok at the track! Ron
