What part of the exhaust is he looking for? stock manifolds? exhaust tips?, everything in between?
The manifolds can be had at a swap meet ( eg, the Mopar Nationals)...etc,,,,the chrome tips can be purchased from a few different sources,,,eg, year one, paddock, or even better used as above.... The rest would just entail having a muffler shop bend up an exhaust system with the mufflers of his choice.

r2 has got you on the right path. If your looking for numbers matching you need manifolds with the part number 2843 992 on them. The swaps and maybe ebay are your best shot. You may want to try some of the parts dealers like texas acres or desert valley. Pick up a Mopar Collectors Guide, in fact if you don't have a subscription, get one it's a very useful resource. For the rest TTI sells a complete system for around $500 or Accurate Ltd is another source. For tips year one or even the same exhaust sites can steer you in the right direction. A good exhaust shop should give you a reliable estimate. Happy hunting!

Yes the manifolds are the same for the 383 and the 440. They both share the same heads too. The 440 exhaust is a little longer than the 383 due to the fact that the 440 is a raised block.

glenn it all depends on what your friends truly are after. Any hp manifolds will bolt up, but if he needs numbers matching then that will be a little bit harder to do as well as more expensive. I think that year one is going to have new reproduced manifolds on the market soon. I don't know who makes and how detailed they will be, but if it's from year one it won't be cheap.
