swirl port heads
i was wondering what the differences are between the 360 and the 318 swirl port heads . do they 360's have the 1.88 intake and 1.60 exhaust valves do they have the big ports also are they worth looking for over the old style 360 heads i dont plan on porting them atleast not untill i get money

The 360 doesnt have the quench like the 318 does, no heart shaped chamber. It does have the raised exhaust ports and the 1.88/1.60 valves, great choice for a 340-360.

i was thinking about putting them on my 318 i have 73 360 heads that are waiting to go on i need to finish the valve job first but if the swirl port heads would be better i would find them before i put too much work into the others

Heads
The 318 "302" heads are much better for a 318 or a mild hop up 318. The 360 Heads unless you mill them a bunch will KILL your already low CR.
