Default New intake Felpro KS2110 gasketkit!

Reaching forward with the rebuild of my 383 E-Body engine 1970.
My old intake aluminiumgasketpan was just a pan,no more!
In this new kit Im supplied with a simular pan,AND four fibergaskets to cover the pan on both engine and intake side.
Do you guys use them?
Do you glue them also?
On both sides?
Or do you just use the old pan as it was the first 20 years?
Im not sure if the intake will fit correct with the complete sandwitch construction??
Thanks Olle B

My intake will not fit with the fiber gaskets so I just use the steel tray gasket with some sealer on each side, and that is with an aluminum intake and aluminum heads.

I use the old cast iron intake and original 906.
Shall I use only one or drop them both?
Any other using standard components who knows how it work out?

Well the stock engine only used the steel gasket with no fiber gaskets so it should still work?

Ollie

I first used just the pan and some sealer and found out that I was sucking oil in from the lifter valley. I trashed the gasket and installed the kit with the fiber gaskets and a bit of sealer and it runs like a top. I also am running 906 heads. So it it works for some and not for others. The fiber gaskets don't hurt any thing.
