They have all kinds of original radios. For the newer cars anyway. Haven't asked if they have them for the older cars. I'm looking for a new one for my 87 Lebaron. Would a new one fit as far as the harness?

The radio wiring is the same up until 99 so a 98 and earlier radio will work. But be forewarned that the mounting ears are different for some of the bodies. There are 2 different ears,so match that up first.

Thanks for the info.

Do you know what shares the ears with an 87 Lebaron?

I don't know off hand so I would be guessing. The mounting ears are either located in the upper right corner and the lower left or upper left and lower right. Most are upper left and lower right

Good morning,
What would cause all 4 of my speakers to stop producing sound...all I get from them is a very low sound, but when I replaced them with other speakers the Dodge mini van radio worked fine.... Could a power surge cause this because I recently had to jump the car.....

If you find out let me know. I just put a new SONY CD player in my F-150 and it works ok most of the time, but the other day I cranked it up for a good song and a minute in it got silent. I turned it off for about 5 minutes, then it worked OK again. Don't know if it needs more air to cool it or what.

I've an 87 Diplomat that at one time or another has had a factory radio from the following years, 78 AM/FM/CB, 87 AM (original to the car), 96 AM/FM (from a Neon), and a 98 AM/FM/Cassette (from a Stratus). All plugged right into my 4 speaker wiring harness (two speaker wiring requied an addition plug and wiring from a 4 speaker car) and bolted right into the dash no problems.

depending on what car you have there is a stereo choke under the dash you will have to look in a service manual to find it & check both fuses the radio has two fuses
