Question shock settings for good street/Strip performance

Guys, you have all be very helpful to me and i call upon you once more. I just bought adjustable rear shocks, new MP HD leafs(with urethane busings, sway bar, and snubber. My car had a bone stock 383 SE suspension and was not hooking well.
What should i keep the shocks set at since i do not want to make adjustments all the time for the street and the strip. 50/50( firm as they call it, or 70/30( regular as they call it). I assumm regular means the same as a regular passenger car shock. Therefore, i am thinking the firm setting, not the Extra firm, will be a good comprimise at those unexpected stop ligts and at the track. I do not use the car to travel far with and so i can deal with a sitffer than usual ride for sure.
Will the snubber even help me any with the HD springs and firmer shocks, or did i waste 50bucks? I know the new srping/shock setup will be much stiffer than before. Imean the stock leafs have 150, 000 on them and they are tired. My motor maybe pushes 400Hp and 400lbs of torque at 4000rpm. Sorry for the long thread.

Default It's a lot sorter than what I put up sometimes :)

The snubber will help. Set it up about a 1/2 inch from the floor pan.
The shocks are a trail and error thing. Start at 50-50. adjust them to 70-30 and feel/time/test the difference. Stiffer is not better when racing. Light to light or track. You'll have to be the judge.

when you set snubber 1/2 inch from floor make sure you have fuel cell full of gas or what ever amount of gas youll use at track to get for weight to get right measurement. i think its about 6lbsper gallon good luck george 68rr
