I just wanted to tell you that Im very impressed with the system I got installed, with the Hifonics amp and subs. They installed the 2 10" subs in but they were 4 ohms, so I got them to switch them to 8 ohms instead. The 3-way 6x9's sound fantastic too. But I had a question, the people who installed it, built a customized box for my truck, its as long as the length of the cab. My problem is that the center consile wont go back into the up right position, right now it has to stay down because of the box in the back. If I ask them to just make two customized boxes for each sub, so I have room to move the center consile back up, will it make a big difference with the sound? Is it better to have one box with both speakers, or will two seperate boxes work just as good?
Thanks ~UNTSS/T~ |

I'm glad you like the system you got.
It won't make a difference either way as long as they can get the correct box size for the subs, and with the HiFonics subs that shouldn't be a problem. |
