I have 325 50 15s on my roadrunner and have run a 1.55 60 foot with them.... set air presure to 18 psi....... their not slicks but work pretty good.. I get about six months out of a set with some street driving...

Lee.....
how often do you go to the track?? I put 275/60/15's on the Charger but haven't driven it yet. I want to go to the track eventually but it will mainly be a street car and the old 235/60/14's just spun way too easily. I was even thinking of using these for a road trip to shows and such. I know they weren't specifically designed for long distance but...... as long as it doesn't rain..... how do you think they will hold up?? Maybe I need to get a set of steel rims for the Drag Radials and just get regular street tires......

thanks lee; what year is your roadrunner these tires are on. did you make any mods to make them fit. also what width wheel are your tires mounted on, i'm guessing 10". i'm just wondering what is the biggest tire i can fit on my 70 gtx without making any mods.

mrB i use 10 inch welds.....I had to fold the outer wheel lip and on the inside i had to do just a little hamering to the inner well tub..(rubbed on turns)

mauve66 I was going every week to the track, i went though a set of bfgs pretty fast !!I'm on my 2 set and they 1/2 gone...they seem to last real good just driving around town .... as far as rain mine (when new) worked great! Now that there 1/2 gone the rain sucks, about 35 mph your gone!!

lee; i will most likely be on the steet more often than at the track. have you even run the approx. same size tire on the road such as the bfg comp. t/a and still get good traction or even another brand that works well. what kind of times are you running in the quarter maybe low 11's?

I have used both the BFG and the new Nitto...

Head to head the Nitto flat out performs the BFG.

I gain .2 on my quarter times just from the Nitto.

I run 315 / 35 / 17 just as info...
