The kit was on my truck for 40,000 miles or so. I work out of this truck, so I put a lot of highway miles on it. The Skyjacker coils were only on there for a little over a year. Everything that comes with the ProComp Stage 1 kit is there, except the front bumps stops. 4Wheelparts said I didn't need them with the 3" kit. The blocks, U-bolts, & add-a-leafs have all been sanded and repainted black. Any other question let me know. Thanks!

Just to make sure will this fit my truck (see sig below). I just want to make sure it's for a 4x4 and not a 4x2. Do you have any pics of your truck with that 3" lift? What size tires did you run? Thanks for the help.

This kit should fit your truck, it is for a 4x4. Sorry, I don't have any pics of my truck with the 3" kit on, I've been meaning to take some to post. When I first had the kit put on, I had Goodyear 305/70/16 ATR's on the stock rims. I had a bunch of problems with those tires so Discount Tire replaced them with their Pathfinder 315/75/16. Before I had them put on I added a 3" body lift so I could run 16x10 wheels, which I bought when they replaced the Goodyears. Any other questions let me know!

Will I need to buy shocks or are they included? I'll have to see how much money I can scrape up.

Shipping is going to be a little expensive- I got a quote of $126.80 for UPS Ground. If you're interested in the kit, I'll pay $50.00 of the shipping. Let me know!

Thanks

I have $290 that I managed to get on such short notice. I really wasn't planning on buying another lift. I'm not sure if Fed Ex will ship any cheaper. I didn't think it would weight much more than 70lbs. If you willing to part with it for $290 (inc shipping) I would be able to buy it. Sorry, I'm really broke.

I'll let the kit go for $290, but I'm going to take the extra shocks and steering stabilizer out to reduce the shipping costs. Let me know if you still want the kit.

Front coils, add-a-leafs, and steering stabilizer in 1st box: 55lbs
6 shocks and lower controls arms in 2nd box: 48lbs
blocks and u-bolts in 3rd box: 28lbs

I'm going to call a place I buy lot of parts from tomorrow, to see if he gets a bulk price rate on shipping. Hopefully he can help me out on the shipping costs. This stuff weighs a hell of a lot more than I thought it would! I'll be out of town until Sunday, but I should be able to log in on my dad's computer. Send me an email to DAnderson91@houston.rr.com with the address you want the kit shipped to and I'll email you back my address. THANKS!

I'll have to run down town and get a money order. Ok I have another question. Does the block included in this kit replace the stock block on the truck? I don't want the blocks stacked. Also do you have the instructions? I'm planning on installing it myself because the 4x4 shops around here charge around $1000 just for the install. Are the skyjacker coils that sweet bright red color? Just curious.

You will be able to replace your factory blocks with the 4" blocks that come with my kit. Originally I had 3" blocks, but when I added the body lift I had the 4" blocks put in, because I didn't like the way the truck was sitting. My truck looked more like a 2WD lift with the smaller blocks. Sorry, I don't have the installation instructions, but I have seen posts on a couple of Dodge sites that have helped in the past. You might also try to contact skyjacker, to see if they can get you a set of instructions. The coils are red, but they are slightly faded. I was going to repaint them red, but I decided not to because some people paint them a different color to match their truck better.

I'm assuming that the 3" lift (front) is obtained by just the taller skyjacker coil springs. I already have 2" coil spring spacers on my truck so I don't want to use any spacers to get the lift. All that I need is coil springs that are 3" taller than the stock coils are. Are the skyjacker coils 3" taller than the stock springs?

Yes, the coils are 3" taller than stock coils. Are you going to use your spacers on top of these coils to get more lift? I have seen a few trucks with the spacers on top of Skyjacker coils, it seems to work out pretty well. I know when I replaced the 3" spacers with the coils, my truck sat taller in the front. Along with the body lift, I switched to 4" blocks in the rear.

I'm going to use my coil spring spacers on top of the skyjacker springs. They seem to soften up the front suspension a bit giving it a nice ride. This should be plenty of lift since I already have the 3" body lift and 2" daystars (I really need all this lift to run the MASSIVE 31" GOODYEARS! It might be awhile before I get enough money for some bigger tires:{. Thanks for answering all my questions. You should be recieving the money in a few days.

Got the kit today! I plan on installing it next week. Now I have a few more questions. I've been thinking of adding dual front shocks since I got the two extra (by looking at em I think they'll fit fine) I've been looking at pro comps stage 2 3" lift. All I really need is the that double shock mount and new upper control arms. Any Idea's on what the parts would cost? Also what's the advantage of new upper control arms? Thanks in advance.

I would check with Skyjacker for the dual shock mounting brackets. They will match the coils nicely. You might try 4Wheelparts for price comparison between the ProComp and the Skyjacker setups. I traded out some work for my brackets, so I'm not sure on the costs. Are you still going to use the 2" spacers on top of the coils? Do you go offroading a lot? See if you can find out the length of the upper control arms before you buy them. I think the ones that come with the stage 2 kit from ProComp are close to factory length. Good Luck!

I was outside with the new lower control arms and they are also the same length as the stock arms. I guess It works out ok with 3" lift in the front but 5" may be another story. Looks like I'm going to have to purchase new (longer) upper/lower skyjacker links because of the additional 2" spacers I'm running. Also I'm going to need to purchase a drop pitman arm and trac bar brackets. I guess wanting 5" lift in the front has got me into some problems. Does the block/add a leaf that came with this kit add 3" to the rear height of the truck?

The block that I sent you is a 4" block. With the add-a-leaf, it should lift the rear of your truck at least 5". When I had the 3" kit on my truck the rear sat about 1.5" higher than the front. I carry around 400lbs. of tools in the bed of my truck for work, and the rear still sat a bit higher than the front.
