i have a 413 motor out of a 72 motorhome. the water pump housing looks strange. the water pump housing goes into the heads and the fan sets very high on the motor. is there a difference between a car and a rv 413. i want to put this motor in a 73 duster. do i need to change anything on the front of the motor? any information is appericiated.

You can use the shortblock, nothing else. You'll have to get a standard set of big block heads, water pump etc.to make it work. The motorhome engine you describe is also used in road graders,as oil well motors etc. It's a 413 industrial engine. The heads look like a cross between big and small block heads.I had one of these engines,it came out of a road grader, and it was beat badly. The crank out of it is in my 440 Dart now. Call JE or Jahns for pistons.
